Team England athletes such as Denise Lewis, Daley Thompson, Jessica Ennis, Kelly Holmes Christine Ohourougu, Karen Pickering, Adrian Moorhouse, Sally Gunnell, Louis Smith, James Degale, Audley Harrison, Mick Gault and many other household names have all initially made their names at Commonwealth Games level.
