Join Team England for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games
Commonwealth Games England’s (CGE) leads and manages the participation of Team England, who will be represented on the Gold Coast by more than 400 athletes across 18 sports, with a total expected team size of more than 600. Gold Coast 2018 will also showcase the largest ever Commonwealth Games para sport programme, with 7 different para disciplines integrated in to the competition schedule.
At the last Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, England topped the medal table with 174 medals. The challenge to our team in Australia will be significant and so creating the right support team is critical.

Games Project Manager
The Games Project Manager will work closely with a number of CGE’s core Games Delivery Team to manage and deliver a number of key projects for both the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas, and the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
Some of the projects and key responsibilities include:

Project planning across all Games Delivery areas

Work with the Operations Director to manage CGE’s kit supplier across a number of project areas

Work with each National Governing Body (NGBs) to understand Games Time NGB ticketing requirements, and manage CGE’s ticketing portal within the Gold Coast 2018 platform to procure and invoice for ticketing as required

In conjunction with key CGE stakeholders, Project Manage and deliver the English leg of the Queens Baton Relay

Manage CGE’s “City HQ” accommodation contracts, and plan, deliver and manage the Games Time operation for City HQ.

In conjunction with the CEO and Chairman, oversee and manage any Games Time adhoc events as required

Post Games, and in conjunction with CGE’s stakeholders, plan and deliver any Welcome Home Ceremonies or functions that may take place
