Athletics - Peter Stanley
Strategic Head of Coaching & Development, UK Athletics and England Athletics
Peter attended the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games as a Coach following his appointment as England Athletics’ National Coach Mentor for triple jump in 2009.
He coached Jonathan Edwards to his gold medals at both the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games.

Badminton - Jens Grill
Performance Director, Badminton England
Originally from Denmark, Jens was previously Performance Director at Badminton Sweden before switching to England in May 2011.
Glasgow 2014 will be his first Commonwealth Games, where he will look for his sport to build upon its three silver and two bronze medals at Delhi 2010.

Boxing - John Hallam
England Boxing
John has worked in boxing for almost 40 years as a competitor, coach and administrator, and brings extensive experience as a Team Manager.
At the London 2012 Olympics he was the Weigh-in Group Leader for LOCOG.

Cycling - Keith Reynolds
Major Events Logistics Manager, British Cycling
A gold medallist for England at the Edinburgh 1986 Commonwealth Games in the men’s team time trial event, the last time that both the Games were held in Scotland and England topped the medals table. At British Cycling, Keith is responsible for all the logistical arrangements of the Great Britain team at major events, such as World Cups and World Championships.

Diving - Alexei Evangulov
National Performance Director, British Diving
A former international diver for Russia, Alexei joined British Diving in 2008 after leading his home country to three silver and two bronze medals at the Beijing Olympics.
Last year he was Team GB’s Diving Team Leader which saw the team enjoy one of their best ever Olympic Games where Tom Daley won bronze.

Gymnastics - Mike Weinstock
English Gymnastics
Glasgow 2014 will be Mike’s sixth Commonwealth Games with the England team having served as a coach in 1990 and 1994, Team Manager in 2002 and 2006, then Team Leader at Delhi 2010.
Mike has served as a Team Coach or Head of Delegation for gymnastics internationals for more than 25 years.

Hockey - Danny Kerry
Performance Director, England Hockey
Danny was appointed England Hockey’s Performance Director in December last year after overseeing the nation’s most successful ever period in the women’s game.
He led England to bronze at Melbourne 2006 and Delhi 2010 and Team GB to the same at London 2012, three of ten medals his teams won between 2004 and 2012.

Judo - Karen Roberts
Performance Projects Manager, British Judo
Karen is the Games’ 63kg champion following her gold medal win for England at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, the last time judo was on the sports programme.
She also competed for Team GB at the Sydney 2000 Olympics and was part of the Team Management for their silver and bronze medal wins at London 2012.

Lawn Bowls - John Bell
Performance Director, Bowls England
An England international of 21 years, John won four world gold medals and, amongst others, held the British Isles, European and English outdoor singles titles. John participated in the 1994 and 1998 Commonwealth Games and was England Team Manager for his sport at Manchester 2002 and Melbourne 2006. He was England’s bowls team’s Performance Director for the 2010 Games where 11 of the team of 12 won medals.

Netball - Sarah Gandon
Performance Operations Manager, England Netball
Sarah was appointed Performance Operations Manager in June following a role with the Glasgow 2014 Organising Committee, and is Team Manager to England’s netball squads in its High Performance Programme. Sarah is England Netball’s primary contact for all major global netball championships including the Commonwealth Games and World Netball Championships.

Rugby 7s - Nadine Cooke
England Sevens Operations Manager, RFU
Nadine has been part of the RFU for ten years and took on the role of Operations Manager for the Sevens team in 2009, just in time to be part of England’s Delhi 2010 team.
She has also worked with the England Saxons team and the under 19, under 21 and National Academy sides.

Shooting - Martyn White
Performance Manager, English Shooting
A member of the England team’s support staff at the past four Commonwealth Games, as a competitor Martyn won the British Junior Championships before he had completed his first year in the sport, joining the England setup in 1977. His father John was England Team Manager at the 1990, 1994 and 1998 Commonwealth Games, and he is a cousin to football commentator Jonathan Pearce.

Squash - Louise Pickford
Coaching & Performance Programme Manager, England Squash & Racketball
Louise joined England Squash & Racketball (ESR) in 2003 from the Lawn Tennis Association. Following the merge of the ‘Coaching’ and ‘Performance’ departments in 2011, Louise assumed the role of Coaching & Performance Programme Manager – responsible for ‘operational’ and ‘logistical’ aspects of the department. Glasgow 2014 will be Louise’s first experience of a major multi-sport games.

Swimming - Dawn Peart
World Class Senior Team Manager, Great Britain, British Swimming
A coach and swimming development officer for more than 20 years, Dawn has covered four World Championships and most recently presided over Team GB’s swimming team at the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympics, before serving as Team Leader at the 2012 European Short Course Championships. Dawn has 25 years of experience as an ASA tutor and is a Winston Churchill Fellow.

Table Tennis - Jon Pett
Head of Workforce Development & Performance Programme Manager, English Table Tennis Association (ETTA).
Glasgow 2014 will be Jon’s first Commonwealth Games. This year he was responsible for England’s Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships team which competed in Delhi, bringing back three silver medals. At the ETTA he oversees the development of the performance and talent infrastructure, along with leading on Coach Development.

Triathlon - James Taylor
Talent Programme Manager, England Triathlon
James joined Triathlon England in 2012 and is responsible for the Head Talent Coach, nine regional coaches and 140 athletes that feed the England Talent squad of 20. A successful cyclist, James won 38 national titles - including six Madison titles - 50 national medals and was crowned Elite Circuit race champion in 2006. He continues to race in the National Masters Championships, where this year he won silver in the scratch race.

Weightlifting - Maggie Lynes
British Weightlifting
Maggie retains her role from the Delhi 2010 Games, and was also a Team Manager at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune and a coach at Melbourne 2006. A three-time former Commonwealth Games competitor for England in shot put (Victoria 1994 and Kuala Lumpur 1998) and weightlifting (Manchester 2002), Maggie has won multiple medals in weightlifting at the European Championships, including two gold.

Wrestling - Shaun Morley
British Wrestling
A former Commonwealth Games competitor and five-time British champion, Shaun was Team Manager at the 2002 and 2010 Commonwealth Games, the latter of which saw England’s wrestlers win their first medals since 1994 including their first gold since 1986.
He also managed Team GB’s wrestling team at the London 2012 Olympics.
