Queen's Baton Relay 2014
The Queen's Baton Relay will be in England between May 31st and June 13th on its way to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The Baton will visit all of the Games' 70 participating nations and territories on its 190,000km journey across the Commonwealth, over a period of 288 days.
It began its journey at Buckingham Palace in London on October 9th and will return to England for two weeks between Saturday May 31st and Friday June 13th 2014.
Batonbearers have been selected by Local Authorities based on their contribution to sport within the local community. This may be as a gifted and talented athlete, coach, trainer or committed volunteer.
Batonbearers include Olympians Brendan Foster and Jonathan Edwards in Newcastle, professional cricketerShiv Thakor, 20, in Leicester, and London 2012 Olympic boxing bronze medallist Anthony Ogogo in Suffolk.
