    Celtic Football Club's Celtic Park home hosts the Opening Ceremony of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, featuring all 70 participating nations.

  • Day one

    The first triathlon medals in eight years are up for grabs as well as a first appearance since 2002 for judo. Swimming, track cycling, rhythmic gymnastics, judo, triathlon and weightlifting finals also take place.

    Swimming, track cycling, rhythmic gymnastics, judo, shooting and weightlifting finals.

  • Day three

    Rugby sevens enter the sports programme and it's medal time in lawn bowls. Elsewhere there are finals in swimming, track cycling, rhythmic gymnastics, judo, shooting, triathlon and weightlifting.

  • Day four

    Athletics at Hampden Park gets underway and the marathon gold medal is up for grabs. Elsewhere there are finals in swimming, track cycling, lawn bowls, rugby sevens, shooting, table tennis and weightlifting.

    The first badminton finals are contested whilst artistic gymnastics begins. Finals take place in swimming, athletics, lawn bowls, shooting, squash, table tennis and weightlifting.

    Mountain biking and wrestling join the programme, both with finals. There are also finals in swimming, athletics, artistic gymnastics, shooting and weightlifting.

    Diving takes the Glasgow 2014 plunge whilst there are finals for athletics, artistic gymnastics, weightlifting and wrestling.

  • Day eight

    Cycling's time trial is the highlight of day eight with finals in athletics, artistic gymnastics, lawn bowls, weightlifting and wrestling.

  • Day nine

    Diving, athletics, artistic gymnastics, lawn bowls and table tennis all host finals as the Games enter the ninth day of competition.
