From 19 to 23 July 2017, the 6th edition of the Commonwealth Youth Games will be held in the Bahamas.

It is the first time in over 50 years that a Commonwealth Games event has been held in the Caribbean, the last being in 1966 in Kingston, Jamaica.

Bahamas 2017 will bring together 1000 young athletes aged 14-18 to compete in seven sports over five days.
